Assess boards
see if suitable for timber flooring - likely to be, need to check
   
Change locks, padlock for back gate, security lock for front gate Susan/Dad padlock and front gate security lock
Wall assessment/Builder

Assess carpet in bedrooms Susan/Mum  
Paint/Clean walls
Bedrooms, Living etc
Mum/Susan Paint, Sugar Soap, brushes, rollers etc

Beyond

Purchasing   kitchen fan, sink, mixer tap
Electrician
powerpoints in unit if not enough, smoke alarms, security light for front yard
   

Before Floorboards
Pull up carpet in lounge & kitchen

Later - Bathroom

Not sure to what extent bathroom is to stay, more than likely will end up being a full renovation

  1. Assess if bath to stay
  2. Purchase vanity or use Steve 'cupboards man' to make recessed vanity
  3. Purchase toilet
  4. quote for shower screens

May end up looking quite similar to this, stove won't be stainless, since may use old white one. Hopefully unit will end up looking less stark, this may be achieved with soft furnishings etc.
